Through slow-motion digital photography and multiple camera angles, nunchaku expert Mitch Thomas not only demonstrates some of the most spectacular chuk techniques ever caught on video, he also teaches you exactly how to perform each one. Starting with basic swings, spins and bounces, Thomas takes you through his entire Dynamic Chux system, a fast-moving curriculum of chuk moves designed to add snap, speed and power to your nunchaku practice. You will learn an arsenal of advanced chuk movements, including finger twirls, across-the-hand rolls, behind-the-back passes and some of Thomas’ signature techniques such as the Gunslinger and Double Cross Follow. Thomas also shows you how you can adapt these motions to other types of nunchaku, including heavy chux and long-chain chux, and teaches you how to do them simultaneously with a pair of chux. Mitch Thomas has more than 20 years’ experience with the nunchaku and even more in the martial arts. Though he has spent time in traditional martial arts, most of his focus and continued training have been outside the classics.
