SMAI WKF Homologated Shin Instep are manufactured to exact specification of the World Karate Federation and approved for use in official continental Tournaments and international WKF Sanctioned events without restriction between 2016-2019. SMAI are official equipment partners of the World karate Federation and have a proud history within the international Karate market. The Shin Insteps are manufactured to exact sizing specifications and design as approved by the WKF to ensure the safety of all competitors during controlled sparring within your club or at the elite Karate level. SMAI WKF Shin Instep are also tested by an independent Body to European directive EN 13277-1 and EN 13277-2 to Cat II PPE to ensure safety in all aspects of protection from materials to impact testing.
The SMAI Shin and Instepis manufactured with a removable instep section as per the exact WKF specifications and sizing requirements. Super safe with full shin coverage, full instep and toe coverage along with added protection also on the heel to cover and protect from all sides. The shin section can ne removed and the instep is available as a replacement part if needed and connects quickly and easily with a hidden velcro tab. The protector is very light weight and injection moulded foam is shock absorbent ideal for dynamic sports karate.
